Inspired by Manet and the Impressionists, he was a member of the \u003ci style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"\u003eSalon d’Automne\u003c\/i\u003e and \u003ci style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"\u003ethe Salon des Indépendents \u003c\/i\u003eand exhibited at the \u003ci style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"\u003eSalon des Peintres Témoins de leur Temps\u003c\/i\u003e and was invited to the \u003ci style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"\u003eSalon des Tuilleries.\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003ci style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"\u003e \u003c\/i\u003eHe painted Breton landscapes, seascapes and still-lifes in shades of blue-green.
