Artist: Jean Colin was an award-winning graphic designer with over 300 posters to his name. His often humorous and colourful advertisement posters for clients including Shell, Perrier and Cinzano were well-known across Europe and the United States. In the late 1940s he had joined a group of graphic designers who, in 1952, founded the prestigious Alliance Graphique Internationale in Paris. Colin’s work is recognised today as one of the most popular French poster designers.
