Our mission is to connect colourful clients with 20th-century masters
Each limited-edition piece in our collection has often been hand-designed by the artists themselves, hand-printed by leading lithographers and hand-chosen by our expert team.
Although the colours are as crisp as the day they were printed, some pieces carry the soft marks and gentle wear of their misspent youth on the streets of Paris. To live with one is to live alongside a slice of 20th-century art history.
Hommage was born from a personal passion for exhibition posters. Our founder, Harry Pruden, bought his first Picasso posters in his early twenties. They brought enormous joy – and over the years rose in value from a few hundred pounds to a few thousand. He realised he was on to something.
Years spent scouring hidden archives and French flea markets led to a vast personal collection and a desire to share these fabulous artworks with others who want to live in full colour.
Our team lives and breathes 20th-century art. Introducing you to our artists feels like introducing you to old friends, so please do swing by our King’s Road gallery for some inspiration.
Every piece we sell online comes framed and ready to hang.
Bespoke framing can be arranged upon request for unframed works purchased in our gallery.
We work closely with a London-based framer whose contemporary, hand-painted finishes reflect the same craftsmanship and care we bring to our collection.
As no two works are the same size, each one requires a bespoke frame. Posters are typically presented in light oak or charcoal, while pieces without typography may be given a more expressive treatment, such as a mounted float or a more sculptural frame.
