Artist: André Brasilier is a French painter. He was born in 1929 and is one of the last surviving modernists to study at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1949. His style combines abstraction and expressionism which he uses to paint brightly coloured landscapes, nudes, ladies, gentleman and dynamic equestrian scenes from a magical, carefree perspective. He has exhibited many times in group exhibitions and solo shows across the world from 1956 to present day.
