Description: This original lithographic poster was designed by Bernard Buffet for a 1978 exhibition of watercolours centred on the town of Saint-Tropez in southern France.

The composition is marked by strong, bright colour, giving the scene a sense of warmth and clarity. Buffet knew the region well, having lived in Tourtour nearby, and the subject reflects a place he observed at close hand.
