Description: A defining thread in Lanskoy’s work is the relationship between form and colour. He breaks the subject apart until it dissolves into broad areas of colour and shifting light.
His abstract compositions are lyrical and fluid, offering a clear contrast to the cooler, more rigid geometry that dominated at the time. Although he resisted classification, his work places him among the early figures associated with Tachism.
