Artist: Hubert Damon (1935 - 2020) was a French painter who was born in 1935 in Blois, Val de Loire. A former member of the group of artists at the Salon d'Automne and Independents that included Eugène Carrière, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Georges Rouault, Édouard Vuillard, Joris-Karl Huysmans, and Émile Verhaeren. Damon had numerous personal exhibitions in France and abroad, notably in the United States, Europe, Taiwan and Japan.
