Roger Worms

Roger Worms was a French painter, ceramicist and art teacher. Born in Épernay in 1907, he attended the École des Beaux-Arts Décoratifs in Paris, where he later became a teacher.

Inspired by Manet and the Impressionists, he was a member of the Salon d’Automne and the Salon des Indépendants. He exhibited at the Salon des Peintres Témoins de leur Temps and the Salon des Tuileries.

Worms painted Breton landscapes, seascapes and still lifes in blue-green tones. In 1937, he decorated the Pavillon des Sports for the Exposition Internationale in Paris.
